Bloody Rotten

All the horror that's fit to rot

Exclusive Developing story · The Green Inferno case

The tape
is real.

A package with no return address. One videotape, badly damaged. A stack of photographs nobody should keep in a drawer. Every frame points back to the expedition that went into the rainforest and never came out — and to the man who paid for the trip. Somewhere out there, one reporter is still transmitting.

Our newsroom has seen the footage. We are still deciding what we owe you: the truth, or a warning.

Disclosure

Bloody Rotten is the horror rag that exists inside Green Inferno — an investigation horror game built from an unproduced screenplay by Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust), written with the master himself from 2019 until his passing in 2022.

You are the investigator. You get the package. You watch the tape. Analyze the scenes, pull the clues, and cut the truth together in the Editing Room — Golden Idol-style deduction soaked in 80s cannibal dread, hand-drawn frames and VHS grain. The demo is free. The full story rots onto Steam in November 2026.

Mature 18+. It's a cannibal picture. You knew that.
